FITNESS GROUPS
No experience necessary and you can get fit while having fun on the water.
Manly Kayaks run fitness groups that involve paddling in conjunction with some Kayak related exercises and stretches. The fitness classes also include on going stroke technique correction. All groups begin with introductory basics and progress to more advanced levels as fitness levels improve.
Cost: $15 per session (1 hr)
Includes: Instructor, kayak, paddles, life vest
What to bring:
- Paddling clothes (rash vest, board shorts, hat)
- Drinking water
- Sunscreen, towel and protective shoes
- Thermal top, wind breaker (incase cold day)
- Dry change of clothes for after the paddle
